Senior Manager, Digital Content & Leadership Development
Develop, manage, and implement digital content cross-functionally across NASTAD's programmatic areas. Cultivate creative strategy and organizational voice across delivery platforms to produce media content for social marketing campaigns (i.e. earned media, paid media, video production, campaign messaging, infographics, and copy etc.). Develop content calendar to activate best SEO practices and systematize ROI for all digital assets associated with both live campaigns and key partnerships. Provide creative direction and oversight on the delivery of strategic goals in collaboration with internal communications staff, production vendors, external consultants, and community-based clients.
Spearhead and manage annual Minority Leadership Program (MLP) to build leadership pipeline of minority leaders of color from health department staff across the nation. Oversee program marketing, curriculum development, external/internal staff management, and event planning. Facilitate group-wide trainings on interpersonal leadership styles, burnout prevention, upward mobility, and wellness prioritization. Create and design program manuals, curriculum evaluations, group activities, and educational toolkits.
Manager, Prevention
Develop digital and creative communications to promote NASTAD’s capacity building assistance and health policy program (i.e. earned media, social marketing campaigns, video production, press releases, opinion pieces, infographics, and copy etc.). Produce technical assistance materials for state and local jurisdictional digital campaigns (i.e. social toolkits, talking points, webinars, issue briefs, training presentations, and video production etc.). Manage 400+ member national e-learning environment known as Online Technical Assistance Platform (OnTAP) state health departments. Coordinated & managed in-person & virtual, state-level trainings ranging from topics on social determinants of health, anti-racism, transgender health, and HIV testing.
Senior Associate, Prevention
Supported social marketing campaigns by developing creative content, press materials, and digital fact sheets for national HIV coalition groups & state-level advocates. Developed technical assistance (TA) promotion materials, policy briefs, literature reviews, and needs assessments for wide variety of local, state, foundation, and federal audiences. Procured & managed contracts with a variety of external partners, vendors, and consultants supporting organization’s strategic mission. Managed online technical assistance platform to provide technical assistance to US states and territories seeking support with HIV prevention and linkage to care. Collaborated with federal partners at CDC, HRSA, & National Coalitions to manage behavioral health integration, HIV prevention, evaluation, and stigma portfolios.

Produced & organized national webinars and regional conferences that impact over 2 million behavioral health services’ beneficiaries. Collaborated with partners at SAMHSA and CDC to manage opioid epidemic, cancer & tobacco control, and the behavioral health financing portfolios. Developed & edited newsletters, brochures, evaluation reports, email digests, fact sheets, and branding materials for over a 100 members and affiliate organizations.
